The 1336S-EN is an English Language Module Kit for the 1336 PLUS Drives from Allen-Bradley. Every Allen-Bradley 1336 PLUS drive has a catalog number; the fifth place of this code number is reserved to identify the drive's default language. This module is made out of a small compact plastic container containing a PC board with a chip containing all of the language data. This module is linked to the 1336 PLUS drives by a 30-pin connection, just insert these pins and the 1336S-EN module into the main circuit board. This module is often installed near the HMI module on the main circuit board. Nevertheless, there may be occasions when the 1336S-EN language module must be replaced when using the 1336 PLUS drive. This might be the situation if the drive has the Motor Mode Flt (alarm no. 24), Power Mode Fault (alert no. 26), or ROM or RAM Flt (alarm no. 68) loaded. The parameter numbered 47 on the 1336 PLUS drives is used to switch between English and the alternate language for the human-machine interface display. This is a brick-styled module for the 1336 PLUS Drives, and it weighs around 0.021 kilos (0.046 pounds).
