The 1394-SJT22-A is a GMC Turbo system module manufactured by Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation as part of the Allen-Bradley 1394 modular multi-axis motion control and drive series. This module is a Servo Controller system module with a 32-bit central processing unit with an analog input of +/-10 volts DC. It operates on AC power supply with a voltage rating of 380 – 460 volts AC at a frequency rating of 50 – 60 hertz. The 1394-SJT22-A module has a nominal power output of 17 – 22 kilowatts with a bus voltage rating of 530 – 680 volts DC. When this module is being interfaced with the external axis drive, the 1394-DIM drive interface module is recommended. The drive interface module functions as an interface between the external axis drive and the 1394-SJT22-A module. The entire system module series provides a direct connection line for three-phase input power, a slide-and-lock module-to-module connection, and an efficient IGBT power conversion system. Notably, each Allen Bradley 1394 module system series, including the 1394-SJT22-A module, can be interfaced with a maximum of 4 axis modules, and every axis can be interfaced with a motor. This module, like other members of the 1394 GMC series in an extended 1394 family, is completely programmable and can be commissioned through a graphical motion control language (GML). Besides, the 1394-SJT22-A GMC Turbo system module supports standard communication options, including DH-485, RS-232, and RS-422, communication ports, and when you have a turbo option, the module programs much faster than other standard modules in the 1394 module system family.
