The 1398-DDM-019 is a drive module with 2 kilowatts continuous output power. It is manufactured by Allen Bradley/Rockwell Automation as part of the ULTRA 200 series. This module comes with a signal output power of 5 volts DC and an analog input of 10-bit resolution. The 1398-DDM-019 module has a nominal input voltage of 100 – 240 volts AC RMS, with a peak output current of 30 amperes and a peak input current of 18 amperes. It comes with an Intelligent Power Module (IPM) technology, which produces high-frequency outputs for the pulse width modulation to protect the drive against short circuit, loop current, over-temperature, and overcurrent. It also features an auto-tuning technology that enables the drive to adjust automatically without any setup. The module cooling fans and requires a fuse size of 20 amperes and AWG wire size of 12 millimeters. Allen Bradley 1398-DDM-019 module features an internally-shielded filter that protects it from electromagnetic distortion. It also comes with an inbuilt power supply as well as an encoder output that produces optimum performance and allows the output to be selected according to the encoder resolution available. This output can divide the motor encoder signal into factors of 1, 2, 4, or 8. Like the other versions in the ULTRA 200 series, this module features multiple protection circuits. This servo drive should be stored in an area where the temperature ranges from -40 to 70 degrees Celsius. Additionally, the relative humidity ratings suitable for this product range from 5% to 95% non-condensing.
