Product number 1398-PDM-020 is a positioning drive module that belongs to the Ultra Plus series of products. This device was designed and manufactured by Allen Bradley / Rockwell Automation. This Ultra Plus series positioning drive module has a peak output current of twenty (20) amperes per phase. Additionally, this device has a continuous output current of ten (10) amperes per phase. The continuous output power rating of this module is two (2) kilowatts. This device a rated input line voltage of one hundred (100) to two hundred and forty (240) volts alternating current (AC) at a 50/60 hertz frequency. This device also has a continuous shunt power rated at fifty (50) watts, as well as a peal shunt power rated at 4.5 kilowatts. Additionally, this positioning drive module has an external shunt rated at 2.4 kilowatts when operating continuously, as well as six (6) kilowatts when operating at peak performance. This Allen Bradley Ultra Plus series positioning drive module weighs approximately fifteen (15) pounds, or the equivalent of five (5) kilograms. When operating this positioning drive module, it is important for the temperature of the surrounding environment to range from 0 degrees Celsius to 50 degrees Celsius, or the equivalent temperature range of 32 degrees Fahrenheit to 140 degrees Fahrenheit.
