This 2094-BM05-M is a Kinetix modular multi-axis servo drive by Allen-Bradley and Rockwell Automation. This multi-axis servo drive is an axis module with 460 Volt AC, three phase input power. It features a 45 Ampere inverter section and requires one control module with an IAM power module. The servo drive has dimensions of 5.5 x 11.9 x 14.7 inches and weighs 12 pounds. This servo drive is designed to provide integrated motion capability for motor applications or drive applications. It can easily do transition from safe torque off to safe speed monitor and from SERCOS interface to Ethernet/IP networks. It is compatible with Kinetix 6000 servo drives to allow easy and quick migration whenever require. The servo drive has embedded safety that removes the requirement for additional panel space or for wiring from an external safety monitor. The safe speed monitor function enables maintenance work without interrupting the working of the machine.

The 2094-BM05-M servo drive comes with a modular design and embedded safety features to enable easy maintenance and flexibility. The servo drive simplifies wiring and reduces spare parts inventory. It can be modified with the latest technology. The downtime of the 2094-BM05-M servo drive can be reduced with reduction in production waste to increase operating efficiency with the safe speed feature. The embedded advanced safety features help in providing safety to personal and provide safe maximum speed, safe maximum acceleration monitoring, safe direction monitoring, zero speed monitoring, enabling switch control, and door monitoring and control. The servo drive has enhanced diagnostic features to analyze the nature of faults by presenting error messages and error alerts.

The IAM power module of 2094-BM05-M has AC input power of LPJ-80SP (80 A) Bussmann Fuse and Allen-Bradley Circuit Breaker 140U-H6C3-C90 Magnetic Contactor and Control input power FNQ-R-10 (10 A) or FNQ-R-7.5 (7.5 A) Bussmann Fuse. Use FNQ-R-7.5 fuse for higher single-cycle inrush current capability. This is recommended when the continuous control power current exceeds 3.0 A. Allen-Bradley Circuit Breaker 1492-SP2D060 or 1492-SP1D150 used in control input power. Use 1492-SP1D150 circuit breaker for higher single-cycle inrush current capability. This is recommended when the continuous control power current exceeds 3.0 A. this model uses DC Common Bus Fuse FWJ-125A Bussmann Fuse and A70QS125-4 Mersen Fuse. Mersen fuses were formerly known as Ferraz Shawmut. 100-C85x10 (AC coil) and 100-C85xx10 (DC coil) contactor ratings are recommended for IAM power modules installed without a LIM module. The weight for this Bulletin 2094 Drive Module IAM (400V-class) weight 5.90 kg (13.0 lbs). Vibration can range 5-55 Hz @ 0.35 mm (0.014 in.) double amplitude, continuous displacement; 55-500 Hz @ 2.0 g peak constant acceleration (10 sweeps in each of 3 mutually perpendicular directions). Dimensions of the module are 302 x 290 x 80 x 260 x 375 mm or 11.9 x 11.4 x 3.1 x 10.25 x 14.7 inches. This module dissipates 121W power when used 20% of the rated power, 183W when 40%, 252W with 60%, 326W by 80%, and 407W by 100% power rated. This makes it the highest power dissipation value of the IAM (inverter) module or AM power module. Internal shunt power is not included in the calculations and must be added based on utilization.
