The Ultra3000 digital servo drive 2098-DSD-020 by Allen-Bradley works with a rotary servo motor or linear motor or actuator with a motor power and feedback cable, as well as two SERCOS fiber-optic cables for Ultra3000-SE drives. The drive has C input voltage of 100 to 240 Volts rms single-phase and an AC input frequency of 47 to 63 Hertz with an AC current rating of 18 Amperes. The continuous output current is 7.1 Amperes with a 0-peak of 10 Amperes and peak output current of 21.2 Amperes with 0-peak of 30 Amperes. The bus capacitance is 1880 microFarads and overvoltage rating is 400 Volts DC. The energy absorption capability is 125 J for a 115 Volt AC input and 51 J for 230 Volts AC. The continuous power output is 1 Kilowatt at 115 Volts AC input and 2 Kilowatts at 230 Volts AC input. The power dissipation is 50 Watts at maximum. The serial port RS-232/RS-422/RS-485 has a communication rate range of 1200 to 38,400 bps. It has 8 optically isolated digital inputs with a voltage rating of 12 to 24 Volts (active high and current sinking) and 4 digital optically isolated outputs with the same voltage rating and are current sourcing. There is one relay output that is normally open and has a rating of 30 Volts DC and 1 Ampere max. The drive can operate in the temperature range of 0 to 55 degrees Celsius (32 to 131 degrees Fahrenheit) and can be stored in temperatures ranging from -40 to 70 degrees Celsius (-40 to 158 degrees Fahrenheit).
