The 2098-DSD-HV100X-DN is a DeviceNet digital servo drive made by Allen-Bradley. This drive is part of the Ultra3000 series of digital servo drives. It is rated for operation at a range of 230 volts to 480 volts AC using a three-phase power connection. It has a continuous power output rating of 5 kilowatts at 230 volts and 10 kilowatts at 460 volts AC. The continuous output current rating is 23 amperes. This drive uses a Space Vector Modulated (SVM) commutation method. It has a digital PI current regulator, a digital PID velocity regulator, and a digital PID with feed forward position regulator. It offers eight (8) optically isolated current sinking digital inputs with a voltage range of 12 volts to 24 volts. Four (4) current sourcing digital outputs are also provided in which each are optically isolated. One relay output is available that has a maximum voltage rating of 30 volts DC and is normally open (NO). The I/O response rating is 100 microseconds. This digital servo drive draws 60 milliamperes from the DeviceNet network and offers 125, 250, and 500 along with auto-baud capability. The drive includes incremental, sine/cosine, intelligent, and absolute encoder types for feedback. Available auxiliary feedback input modes are A quad B, Step/Direction, and clockwise/counterclockwise with a maximum signal frequency of 2.5 Megahertz. This drive only offers the incremental input type for the auxiliary feedback. This drive has physical dimensions that measure 151.6 millimeters x 331.5 millimeters x 360.7 millimeters, or 5.97 inches x 13.05 inches x 14.2 inches. This unit has an approximate weight of 10.44 kilograms, or the equivalent of 22.96 pounds.
