The Allen-Bradley 20AD034A0AYNANNN is an AC Drive included in the PowerFlex 70 Series A. This is a 3 phase 6 pulse drive operating at 480 Volts AC. It is rated for an input current of 34 Amperes at an input frequency of 50 Hertz and is rated for up to 18.5 Kilowatts (25 Horsepower) of power. This drive is contained in a Type D enclosure that supports panel mounting and meets IP 20 as well as NEMA/UL Type 1 standards. This drive features a Brake Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor (IGBT), however, does not have an internal brake resistor. It does not have an integrated communication slot and only offers standard control features without a Safe Torque-off option. This AC drive is filtered for emissions and the manufacturer provided documentation includes a manual. This AC drive uses a low-pass filter to attenuate high frequencies while allowing transmission of high frequency signals. The 20AD034A0AYNANNN is able to retain the motor overload when powering down. The speed reference selection unit is used to set the speed reference and the drive uses it to relate to the feedback. The drive's speed controller uses Proportional and Integral gains to control the motor torque reference, which the drive uses to match the required speed. In order to avoid the possibility of electric shocks during installation, uninstallation, or maintenance on the drive, it needs to be ensured that the voltage on the bus capacitors has completely discharged before any work is performed on the drive. This drive contains components that are sensitive to electrostatic discharge therefore, static control precautions need to be taken while handling this drive.
