The Rockwell Automation manufactured Allen-Bradley brand PowerFlex 40 series drive 22B-D2P3F104 has a voltage rating of 480 volts with three phase at 2.3 Amperes which is 0.75 kW (1.0 hp) power. The drive finds application in volts per hertz as well as sensorless vector applications. It can also autotune to respond to the characteristics of an individual motor. The enclosure is flange mount type with IP20 and NEMA/UL Type Open rating. This allows for easy front-side retrieval of the drive in case any repair or maintenance is required. The drive comes equipped with a fixed keypad for human interface and IGBT brake. The overall dimensions of the unit are 80 x 136 x 185 millimeters (3.15 x 5.35 x 7.28 inches) and the shipping weight is 1.4 kilograms (3.1 pounds).

The drive has a programmable output frequency range of 0 to 400 Hertz with a typical efficiency of 97.5%. It has an in-built 140M motor circuit protector with branch circuit protection on grounded wye neutral distribution systems. There is a 194R fused disconnect for branch circuit protection that can withstand 200 kA short circuit using Class J fuses. The overvoltage trip occurs at 810 Volts DC bus voltage which is equivalent to 575 Volts AC incoming line and the undervoltage trip occurs at 390 Volts DC bus voltage with a 275 Volt AC incoming line equivalency. The drive has standard protective features including: I-squared-t overload protection of 150% for 60 seconds and 200% for 3 seconds. The overcurrent limit is 200% for hardware and it has an instantaneous fault at 300%.
