The 25B-B032N104 is an Allen-Bradley PowerFlex 525 series drive control unit. This machine is manufactured by Rockwell Automation. The Allen-Bradley 25B-B032N104 Powerflex 525 comes with the same controls found on the other drives in the PowerFlex family, including the proprietary MainsFree configuration tools which allow users to simply connect the control drive to a standard desktop PC through a commonly available USB cable. The Allen-Bradley 25B-B032N104 Powerflex 525 also supports accessory cards without impacting on its overall space footprint. The PowerFlex drives feature a detachable control module, which then enables the drives to offer simultaneous access to installation and configuration settings.

The PowerFlex drives also offer panel mounting, providing even more flexibility to these drives and their users. The Allen-Bradley 25B-B032N104 Powerflex 525 also features another important feature; the removable Metal Oxide Varistor(MOV)-to-ground feature which allows for straightforward operation in cases where the drive must be used for ungrounded distribution. This 25B-B032N104 comes with an integral brake transistor, as with the majority of the drives in its product family. The 25B-B032N104 comes as a three-phase drive with a 240 Volts Alternating Current voltage rating. The 25B-B032N104 has an output current of 32 amperes with an IP20 NEMA open enclosure. The Allen-Bradley 25B-B032N104 Powerflex 525 features a typical interface module. The 25B-B032N104 has no EMC filtering option available. The Allen-Bradley PowerFlex drives offer low voltage with the expectation that they will be deployed and operated in compact industrial locations. This drive family is available in a very wide range of power ratings, allowing them to provide output currents for nearly every small to medium industrial need.

The 25B-B032N104 comes with several I/O ports. There are seven sink discrete outputs on this drive, one normally closed (N.C.) port, and two analog inputs. Two of the analog inputs has the analog output rating of zero (0) to ten (10) volts direct current (DC). The other analog output has an analog output rating of zero (0) to ten (10) volts direct current (DC). All three of these I/O ports support a maximum output power of 10 milliamperes. This drive supports both panel mounting and DIN Rail mounting. When operating at full capacity, this drive can generate a maximum output power of 7.5 kilowatts, which is equivalent to 10.0 horsepower (Hp). The input current rating for this drive is 34.8 amperes. There is one MOV-to-ground feature on this drive. Due to this feature, this drive can be used in underground industrial settings. There is one integrated brake transistor on this module. At 3 phases, this device requires an input voltage of 240 volts alternating current. It should be kept away from corrosive elements, which are common in any type of industrial environment. The 25B-B032N104 should be placed inside an IP20 or NEMA rated enclosure. This drive should only be used with a D sized frame. Unfortunately, this drive does not come with any EMC filters. This drive can also be sued with communication adapters. These adapters can be installed on the drive’s reserve slot. Thanks to the control module that is easily detachable, this drive can be simultaneously installed and configured.
