The 25B-D1P4N104 is a Type 525 PoweFlex Series AC Drive that is manufactured and branded by Allen-Bradley and Rockwell Automation. It has a rated input voltage of 380 to 480 Volts AC with -15% to +10% tolerance and a 0 to 460 Volts AC output voltage, 3-phase power, 1.4 Amperes, 0.5 Horsepower, 0.4 Watts normal duty and heavy duty output, Frame Size A, and 27.0 total Watts loss. It features an IP20 NEMA enclosure and a standard interface module with a keypad and 4-digit backlit LCD for easy onboard operation. The 25B-D1P4N104 PowerFlex 525 drive provides high-performance motor speed and braking control capabilities that make it suitable for a variety of applications ranging from standalone machines to applications that require that it be integrated into a larger control system. Its installation and configuration can be done simultaneously because of its detachable power module and control module.

Like other PowerFlex 520 Series drives, the 25B-D1P4N104 PowerFlex drive offers flexible configuration options. Configuration options available for the 25B-D1P4N104 PowerFlex drive include an Integral RS4/DSI communication card, an embedded EtherNet/IP port (only for 525 drives) that provides easy configuration and control of drive data through the network, and its dual-port EtherNet/IP option card that supports Device Level Ring (DLR) topologies, enabling the drive to handle faults with ease. The position control capabilities of the 25B-D1P4N104 PowerFlex drive include closed-loop feedback and point-to-point positioning. It relies on an integral brake transistor to provide dynamic braking with low-cost brake resistors and it provides enhanced inertia ride through to mitigate the effects of low voltage. The features of selectable 1/2-line voltage operation and 1/2 DC Bus operation allow it to be used without problems in brownouts and/or low-voltage conditions.

The 25B-D1P4N104 should be operated at an input voltage range of 323 to 528 volts alternating current (AC). At 3 phases, it should be supplied with an input current of 1.9 amperes. This drive is designed to be operated at a frequency of 50 to 60 hertz. At 3-phase this drive can generate a maximum output voltage of 460 volts alternating current (AC). It has a current rating of 1.4 amperes. The horsepower rating for this drive is 0.5, which is equivalent to 0.4 kilowatts. On the Allen-Bradley catalog, this drive should be listed under the 100-C09 identifier. It features an IEC rated contactor. This contactor is ideal for using with electric motors. This motor can generate 2 horsepower (Hp) when operating at 230 volts power, and 5 horsepower (Hp) when operating at 460 volts. This drive complies with all the IEC and EN rated standards. It should be used with a 3 amperes fuse. The maximum it can support is a fuse that supports 6 amperes. It can be used with any of the following circuit breakers – the 140M-C2E-B25 or the 40U-D6D3-B30. 

For local configuration and integration users can use the LCD display and the keypad. The embedded input / output channels can be used for hardwiring operations. When it comes to configuration, this drive offers much flexibility. The Ethernet / IP port supports DLR topologies. There is one integral brake transistor built into this drive that provides dynamic braking.
