The PowerFlex 525 series AC drive 25B-D2P3N104 is rated for three phase 480 Volt alternate current motors. The output current is 2.3 Amperes and frame designation has a normal and heavy duty power rating of 1 horsepower (0.75 Kilowatts). It has an IP 20 rated NEMA open type enclosure with a standard interface module, standard braking, and no filter emission class. The drive is equipped with two analog inputs – one unipolar and one bipolar. They are separately isolated from the body of the drive I/O. The input configuration can be toggled with a digital signal. In addition, there are seven digital inputs for custom programming solutions. Six out of the seven digital inputs are programmable. The single analog 10-bit output is jumper selectable between 0 to 10 volts or 0 to 20 milliamps. It is typically used for metering or as a reference speed to another drive. The drive also has two Opto outputs and two relay outputs of form A and B each. These are used for status signals from drives, motors, and their logic controllers. For network communication, there is an in-built Ethernet/IP port which allows for convenient configuration, control, and data acquisition over the network. The drive offers closed loop control with an additional encoder card for feedback that improves speed or position control. The drive provides easy to use PC programming options where components can be connected with Workbench. The straight forward plug-and-play setup can be utilized with USB connections. The AppView tool has the common parameter groups and new parameter groups can be created with CustomView tool.
