The 2711-B5A16 from Allen-Bradley is classified among PanelView Standard Operator series of panels. The panel shall withstand vibrations up to 2 g under 2000 hertz. The Allen-Bradley 2711-B5A16 provides the user a 120 millimeters wide and 60 millimeters tall display. It is suggested to provide an access point to the back of the model in order to carry out wiring and maintenance tasks correctly. The panel consents the use of a memory card for HMI program download. The panel has an extensive UI for the operator with a mixed keypad/touchscreen combination. The device has a RS-232 (DF1) port to share data with PLCs or other devices. The user must keep enough room inside the case of the panel to have efficient cooling. The module has to be placed in a location complying to IEC-1131-2 pollution protection so that only non-conductive alteration may occur.
