The Allen-Bradley 2711-K10C15L1 is a state-of-the-art PanelView Standard Terminal and belongs to the series of Allen-Bradley / Rockwell Automation PanelView 1000 Color Terminals. A stainless-steel domed membrane keypad is provided to be used as the input mechanism. It also has a 640 x 480 pixel color display. This display can be configured by the user to provide an interactive and vibrant interface. The user can also switch from color to grayscale to monochrome displays if they need to. It also comes with a 1008-kilobyte storage memory which can be used to store files and applications. The operator is equipped with a ControlNet port which can be used to connect to ControlLogix controller (with 1756-CNB module) or PLC-5 on a ControlNet network. An RS-232 printer port is also provided which can be used to connect to a printer. It can also be used to connect to a personal computer. This allows the user to transfer applications, data, and files to the operator terminal with ease. It can be used in temperatures ranging from 0° to 55° Celsius. It can be stored at temperatures as low as -25° Celsius and as high as 70° Celsius. It can also withstand vibrations during operations up to 2,000 Hertz. This operator terminal uses 85 to 264 volts of alternating current as its input power. A reset button is provided which can be used to reset the operator terminal to its factory settings if needed. It is enclosed within a 4x or NEMA 12 or 13 enclosure. This enclosure provides durability and ventilation to the operator terminal. It is also fitted with status indicators in the form of green and red LEDs which can inform the user of any problems that the terminal may be facing.
