The discontinued 2711-K6C10 is an Allen Bradley operator terminal manufactured as part of the PanelView 600 product line. It uses an input power range of 85 – 264 volts AC and has an optional internal backlight replacement part number 2711-NL3 with 240 kilobytes of internal memory. Allen Bradley 2711-K6C10 operator terminal comes with estimated dimensions of 14 x 11 x 8 inches and a shipping weight of 6 pounds. This unit is designed and intended for use in enabling the user to interface with the machine easily. It is a human-machine interface (HMI) with a 5-inch color display. Additionally, this terminal allows the operator to control the human-machine interface through the keypad to enter information and data. It also comes with DeviceNet terminals that communicate and connect at device level over DeviceNet link using client explicit, server explicit, I/O, or listen only messaging. Also, the terminal can connect to the SLC, PLC, and ControlLogix controllers on the DeviceNet link. This link is designed to use a DeviceNet Scanner Module and enables direct data access, thus minimizing the ladder logic. The DeviceNet network is compatible with and supports change-of-state, cyclic, peer-to-peer and polled messaging to enhance communication.
