The Allen-Bradley 2711-K9A10L1 is a member of the Allen-Bradley / Rockwell Automation PanelView 900 Monochrome Terminals. It is equipped with a stainless-steel domed membrane keypad with an actuation of over one million presses. The keypad allows the user to easily input commands and information with the keypad. It is also fitted with a 10.1-inch monochrome display screen with a resolution of 640 x 480 pixels. This display provides an attractive and vibrant display to the user. The monochrome display allows the user to view the display in sunlight which makes the operator terminal a good choice for outdoor applications. The operator terminal takes an input power of 120 volts of alternating current. It houses an RS-232 printer port that can be used to connect to a printer and print terminal logs and other data in the background while the operator terminal performs its usual functions. It is also equipped with a DeviceNet port which can be used to connect to a DeviceNet network. The RS-232 port can also be used to connect to an RS-232 port of a personal computer which then allows the user to upload and download files to and from the operator terminal with ease. It is also fitted with status indicators in the form of green and red LEDs. These status indicators allow the user to easily understand, isolate and troubleshoot problems during the day to day operations of the terminal.
