The 2711-K9C1 is a PanelView 900 human-machine interface manufactured by Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation as part of the PanelView 900 series. The unit is AC-rated with an input rating of 110 volt-amps, input voltage of 85 – 264 volts AC at 47 – 63 hertz. The terminal is designed to make monitoring and controlling the machine function easy through the display and its keypads. The module also displays information to the operator on the 9-inch color screen with a screen resolution of 640 x 480 pixels and a display area measuring 6.73 x 5.12 inches. The display screen of the 2711-K9C1 operator terminal has a Cold Cathode Fluorescent (CCF) backlight and uses the green/red indicator lights to show COMM and FAULT statuses of the machine. The operator can enter information using the keypad, which has 16 function keys that help to initiate the display functions as well as navigational cursor keys that are used to select and change the displayed screen modes. Allen Bradley 2711-K9C1 operator terminal has the numerical keys for input of decimal and numerical numbers. It also features RS-232 communication ports for connections to the Logix Controller, PLC. Additionally, it supports external memory card and can also print out information via the RS-232 printer port. Other specifications of the terminal include an operational temperature range of 0 – 50 degrees Celsius and a non-condensing relative humidity limit of 95 percent. The 2711-K9C1 terminal can tolerate an operational shock rate of up to 15G and a vibration of up to 1G at 2,000 Hertz. It weighs approximately 7.0 pounds and measurements of 9.80 x 15.97 x 4.40 inches.
