The 2711-T9C10 from Allen-Bradley is a terminal for industry from the PanelView Standard Terminals 900 series. The user should interact with the HMI via its touch screen UI. The device has a 171 x 130 millimeters color screen. The Human-Machine-Interface grants the use of a memory card to download/upload applications. A crucial factor to maintain the proper functioning of the terminal is refrigeration. The engineer shall provide adequate space within the enclosure and take into account other modules in the heat analysis. The operator can simply link additional equipment, like PLCs to the HMI using its DeviceNet port.
