The 2711P-B7C22D9P operator interface device monitors and controls devices connected to CompactLogix 5370 and ControlLogix controllers through an EtherNet/IP network. A touch screen and keypad input are used by operators to interface with the control system. It has a 6.5-inch thin-film transistor color display with a viewing area of 132 x 99 mm (5.2 x 3.9 inches), a resolution of 640 by 480 VGA with 18-bit color graphics, and an aspect ratio of 4:3. It has a white light-emitting diode (LED) backlight that can work for 50,000 hours with full brightness at 40-degree Celsius. The terminal has a system memory of 512 MB RAM and 512 MB of nonvolatile storage. The terminal has approximately 80 MB of user memory. The memory of the 2711P-B7C22D9P can be expanded with the use of an SD card. The terminal features two USB 2.0 host ports that allow detachable flash drives for remote storage, one USB device port, and two 10/100Base-T Ethernet ports with Auto MDI/MDI-X that enable linear, device Level Ring (DLR), or star network topologies. The 2711P-B7C22D9P requires a 24 VDC power source, with 18 to 30 VDC being the allowable range. The terminal has a maximum power consumption of (2.1 A at 24 VDC) 50 watts. This terminal supports the safety and protective extra-low voltage ( SELV & PELV) 24V DC power supplies.
