The Allen-Bradley 2711P-K4C5A8 is a PanelView Plus 6 operator interface that functions under a power supply that ranges from one hundred and six (106) to two hundred and forty (240) volts alternating current. For communication purposes between the systems, the device has a RS-232 communication port and the communication cable applicable is the 2711-NC14. The input interface is membrane keypads which constitute of function keys, numerical keys labeled from 0 to 9 and control keys. The display screen is a color display whose size is 3.5 inches. The backlight used for readability of the screen in low light and it is non-replaceable. To be able to handle all the running tasks on the system, the device has a Random Access Memory (RAM) of 256 megabytes, permanent programs are stored in a 512 megabytes nonvolatile memory and a free 79 megabytes is provided for the user to store personal files and data.
