Allen-Bradley's 2711P-K4M3A is a PanelView Plus 400 terminal. It provides a small and low-cost interface for users/operators to interact with machines. This terminal is equipped with a monochrome passive-matrix display with FSTN based cell technology. It has a 3.5-inch diagonal display with a 3 x 2.3 inch display area. A keyboard is accessible for interacting with the terminal. It contains number keys, eight functional keys, and navigational keys. The terminal's base unit contains an RS-232 and a USB port for joining external hardware such as a scanner, modem, printer, and other accessories. Through modem connections, RS-232 offers full-duplex communication with PLCs. It also supports serial connections for DH485 communication. The terminal provides IP65, IP54, NEMA 4x, NEMA 13, and NEMA 12 enclosure ratings. Its base unit weighs 1.24 pounds and measures 6.0 inches in width x 7.28 inches in height and 3.54 inches in depth.
