The 2711P-K6M5D is a human interface terminal module. It is made by Allen-Bradley as part of the PanelView 600 series. This terminal has a monochrome display that has a diagonal display size of 5.5 inches. It also features a keypad user interface with function keys as well as numeric and navigation buttons. The keypad is able withstand up to one million presses. The screen type is passive matrix FSTN. For connectivity, one USB port and one communication port supporting the RS-232 protocol is also available. The terminal’s nominal operating voltage is 24 Volts DC and the input voltage range is between 18 and 30 VDC or 85 to 264 VAC. The power consumption rating for AC power is 60 VA at maximum and is specified at 25 watts for DC power. 64 MB of flash memory is provided for non-volatile storage as well as 64 additional MB for volatile memory capacity. The terminal has a battery life that lasts for a minimum of five years at an operating temperature of 77 degrees Fahrenheit (25 degrees Celsius). This required cutout dimensions for this module are 9.5 inches (241 millimeters) in width and 5.61 inches (142 millimeters) in height. The dimensions of the base unit without the communications module are 6.58 x 10.47 x 3.86 inches (167 x 268 x 98 millimeters). The approximate weight is 2.05 pounds (0.92 kilograms). The terminal has an enclosure that is built with an Ingress Protection rating of IP54.
