Description:

The 2711P-RP3 is an Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation logic module from the PanelView Plus 700-1500 logic modules family. It contains two USB ports, an Ethernet port, a serial port, and a compact flashcard slot for communication. Besides its 256 MB memory for its RAM and Flash, it also offers a compact design and an easy-to-read user guide for various operational, maintenance, and repair functions. The input power source is DC, and it is not fit for PanelView six terminals.

The 2711P-RP3 is a logic module from PanelView Plus 700 to 1500 logic modules product lines. This logic module is from the Allen-Bradley brand, and its manufacturer is Rockwell Automation. The primary flash memory allocated for this panel is 256 MB, while its RAM is also the same. In addition, the module requires a DC power supply for its operation. Besides that, it also supports an Ethernet port and serial port for network communication. Further, the users can mount compact flashcards into its two USB ports. Aside from that, this logic module by Allen-Bradley, however, is not compatible with PanelView Plus 6 terminals. MER program exclusion, which would be fixed to run on startup when users reorganize or start the terminal, automatically leads to the configuration. Additionally, the supported battery capacity is at least 275 V of AC power. If the capacity is not up to the said limit, it should be replaced. Although this logic module is safe to use and offers a user-friendly interface, certain operational and maintenance precautions are necessary to keep the module safe. In this regard, the manufacturers provide an easy-to-read manual that is designed so that most users will be able to understand it. In addition, it is necessary to follow guidelines that are helpful in both understanding the module's operational mechanisms and the long-term maintenance of the product.
