The Allen-Bradley 2711P-T6C5A operator terminal is part of the PanelView Plus 6 industrial terminal series. The 2711P-T6C5A terminal's touch-enabled color display is utilized for operator input. The terminal's touch technology is analog-resistive (4-wire). This touchscreen does have a 1 million press rating. Color active-matrix TFT technologies are used in the development of the 5.5-inch color display, and the display area of the screen measures 4.5 by 3.4 inches with a resolution of 320 pixels by 240 pixels, a capability for graphics with 18-bit color depth, and a brightness of 440 Nits. The display's backlight is a white LED with a rated operating life length of 25,000 hours and is non-replaceable. An integrated real-time clock provides time stamps for crucial data. Its power system backup for the actual system clock is supplied by the battery with a 4-year operating life.
