The 2711P-T6M20A terminal is an Allen-Bradley PanelView Plus 600 interface terminal. Data input is through the analog resistive touchscreen whose display size is 5.7 inches. The flat panel display type is a monochrome display giving off a black and white image. The display is made visible and bright with the help of a white, light-emitting diode (LED) backlight that is irreplaceable. The screen has a resolution of 320 × 240 with a brightness level of 440 Nits. The touch screen has an actuation life of one million presses. The module is powered by an Alternating current of 100 – 240 Volts. Communication is made possible as the module has an Ethernet port, a high-speed USB port, and an RS-232 port. It also has an additional slot that can be used to insert a secure digital card. The module’s Random Access Memory is 256 MBs while the Read-only memory (ROM) is 512 MBs and the weight of the whole unit is 594 grams. The module interface is capable of associating time with critical data and it’s made possible by a clock that is battery powered and has an accuracy level of ± 2 minutes per month. The battery used is a coin cell lithium battery which has a lifespan of 4 years when maintained at a minimum temperature of 25 degrees Celsius. Once the lifespan is complete, the battery can easily be replaced by the user. The operating shock is between 10 to 110 G.
