Part Number 2711PC-RP8D is a logic module component related to the product family of PanelView Plus 6 compact operator terminals. This attached human machine interface (HMI) terminal has an integrated and non-replaceable display. In addition, it features an active-matrix, 18-bit graphics, color, thin film transistor (TFT) liquid crystal display (LCD). This logic module contains four (4) ports for communication and networking, including two (2) non-isolated USB 2.0 ports that support mouse devices and standard USB keyboard, a single isolated RS-232 port involved in printing and application uploading/downloading purposes, and a single isolated Ethernet port that is connected via Ethernet/IP communication for network connections and third-party Ethernet communications.

Allen-Bradley’s 2711PC-RP8D logic module has a replacement battery of part number 2711P-RY2032 with its battery life estimated at four (4) years minimum. It is attached to a cut-out panel having a display area of 305 millimeters x 224 millimeters, and its physical dimensions measure 248 millimeters x 329 millimeters x 55 millimeters. It has two (2) LED indicators on the backside of green and red colors indicating COMM and fault, respectively. Some other technical features of this module include a 512-megabyte non-volatile memory, 512 megabytes of RAM, powered by a 24 volts DC supply, a power rating of 70 watts, a maximum amperage rating of 2.9 amperes operating at a range of 0 °C to 55 °C, a backlight of CCFL of half-life of 50,000 hours, and having C-Tick, CE, and c-UL-us certifications.
