The Kinetix VP series compact brushless servo motor is designed based on proven magnetic core MP technology to respond to the high-performance specifications of industrial systems. It is equipped with real-time motor performance information to the control system via digital feedback device. The permanent magnet rotary low inertia servo motor VPL-B0631T-PJ12AA is rated for 400 Volt class and has a 63 millimeter bolt circle diameter frame. Its rated speed with one magnetic stack is 6750 rpm. The motor is equipped with an 18-but absolute multi-turn (4096 revolutions) digital encoder with Hiperface DSL protocol. It comes with a shaft key and no default break. Its connector is single SpeedTec DIN connector which is 325 degrees rotatable.

The motor measures 143.1 x 55 x 97 millimeters (5.63 x 2.17 x 3.82 inches). The operating temperature range is 0 to 40 degrees Celsius (32 to 104 degrees Fahrenheit) and storage range increases to -30 to 40 degrees Celsius (-22 to 104 degrees Fahrenheit) with relative humidity of 5% to 90% (non-condensing) and in a noncorrosive atmosphere. The motor delivers a continuous stall torque of 0.46 newton-meter (4.0 pounds-inch) and peak stall torque of 1.33 Newton-meter (12.0 pounds-inch). The motor output is rated at 0.31 kW (0.42 hp) and its inertia is 0.0000094 kilogram-square meter (0.000083 pounds-inch-square seconds). The motor weighs approximately 1.04 kg (2.3 pounds). The sturdy motor has shock acceleration tolerance of up to 20 g for 6 milliseconds and vibrational acceleration of 2.5 g for frequencies up to 2000 Hz. The IP rating is IP50 minimum and goes to IP66 with shaft seal.
