This module, which has the product number 1734-4IOL, was designed and produced by the company known as Allen Bradley / Rockwell Automation. This device is a POINT I/O 4 Channel IO-Link Master Module. As the name suggests, this module has four (4) channels that can be configured as either an input / output (I/O) link Master or a standard digital Input / Output module. Apart from that, this Input / Output Link Master module is also adaptable to any Input / output link and discrete application. The Allen Bradley 1734-4IOL module supports four (4) channels of standard digital input or output in standard digital Input or Output mode. 

It is also crucial to know that this unit can be added either before or after the base installation is completed. Before installing the module into the mounting base, users must ensure that the mounting base is correctly keyed. In addition to that, users must go on to verify that the locking screw used on the mounting base is horizontal in relation to the mounting base. Additionally, in order for users to be able to configure the mounting base onto the DIN rail, technicians and/or operators must verify that they have positioned the mounting base in a vertical position and that it is placed above the configured units, which could either be the adapter or the existing module. Following that, users need to slide the mounting base downwards, permitting the side pieces to interlock the adjacent module.
