The 1746-NR4 is an RTD Input Module that is branded and manufactured by Allen-Bradley and Rockwell Automation. The 1746-NR4 has a backplane current consumption of 50 milliamperes at 5 Volts DC and 50 milliamperes at 24 Volts DC. Backplane power consumption is 1.5 Watts (maximum), 0.3 Watts at 5 Volts DC, and 1.2 Watts at 24 Volts DC. This Input Module has no external power supply requirements and includes four (4) backplane isolated channels. It utilizes Sigma-Delta modulation for its A/D conversion method and a low pass digital filter with programmable notch (filter) frequencies for input filtering. The 1746-NR4 has a maximum common mode voltage of ±1 Volt and an optical isolation of 500 Volts DC for 1 minute between inputs and chassis ground, as well as between inputs and backplane.
