The Rockwell Automation data table access module 1747-DTAM works from the factory side by facilitating data access to all the file information, any modification to the operations and also to check and resolve any alarms, faults in processors as well as to transfer data between SLC family of processors. The module is not capable of processing floating point, string data type and ASCII data values, which are used in SLC 5/03 OS301 or newer processors. The module comes pre-loaded with ten quick recall functions that can be used to assign frequently monitored and updated data files with shortcut keys. The processor operating mode can be toggled between Run and Halt; memory transfers can take place from CPU RAM to CPU EEPROM and vice versa. The two main functional modes are Monitor and Modify which can be selected with jumpers or with a user-selected security key switch. The module also offers a monitor override feature that lets the user modify data at selective addresses while still in monitor mode. The user can enjoy the auto attach function that begins processor communications. The language choices include English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, and Japanese. The shorthand addressing is available for quicker access to default data files. The module provides point to point interface to SLC processor or as a network device on DH485 network as well as display messages from either of these two sources. The module is UL-Listed, CSA-Certified, and rated as NEMA Type 12 and 13 enclosure. It can be located in Class I, Division 2, Groups A, B, C, and D hazardous locations.
