The Allen-Bradley 1756-CNBR is a ControlLogix Redundant Bridge Module that provides two ControlNet ports. This device can be installed at any slot of the ControlLogix chassis. The 1756-CNBR includes an open enclosure. The unit dissipates a power of 5.1 Watts. The device draws a backplane current of 970 milliamperes at a voltage of 5.1 Volts DC and 1.7 milliamperes at a voltage of 24 Volts DC. The 1756-CNBR provides forty to forty-eight (40-48) Logix communication links. This module offers a communication rate of 5 megabits per second. The device supports 64 bidirectional scheduled and unscheduled links with ControlNet devices and twenty (20) buffers. This unit provides continuous electrical isolation of 30 Volts and can be employed with both redundant and standard power sources.

This unit supports a non-condensing relative humidity range from 5 percent to 95 percent and a vibration frequency range from 10 Hertz to 500 Hertz.
