GE / IP FANUC Series 90/30 In Stock
Manufacturer: | Allen Bradley - PLC |
Product Type: | PLC/Programmable Logic Controller |
Part Number: | 1756-TBSH |
Series: | ControlLogix |
Description:
The Allen-Bradley created 1756-TBSH module is a replaceable terminal block for ControlLogix modules. In a system, it should only have one conductor linked to any of its terminals at a time. The 1756-TBSH detachable terminal block is a spring clamp type rather than a cage clamp or NEMA clamping category of the removable terminal block. This detachable terminal block is adaptable enough to handle 20 various system locations. The 1756-TBSH replaceable terminal block does have a standard depth wire capacity, therefore it can handle ordinary wires but not heavy-gauge wires.
This unit does not ship with terminal blocks. Terminal blocks may be present in photographs for illustrative purposes.

The Allen-Bradley 1756-TBSH connects 1756 I/O modules to plant wiring in a flexible manner. It is an I/O module accessory that must be bought in addition to the module. The standard housing is included with this 20-pin spring-clamp RTB. It is part of the Bulletin 1756 Removable Terminal Block series, which connects to the front of ControlLogix I/O modules. It works with certain 1756 series AC digital inputs, analog inputs, analog RTDs and thermocouples, analog outputs, specialty I/O modules, and also AC digital outputs modules.
When combined with conventional housing, the 1756-TBSH detachable terminal block has a wire capacity of up to 336 mm², making it the most versatile terminal block available. It is suitable for solid or stranded copper wires with a diameter of 0.33-2.1 mm² (or, 22-14 AWG rated cable) and a maximum insulation thickness of 1.2 mm (3/64 inch), rated at 90 degrees Celsius (194 degrees Fahrenheit) or higher. It measures 147.91 mm (58.23 inches) in depth from the front of the module to its rear on the chassis' standard-depth configuration. It is not recommended to connect numerous wires to any one terminal.
A key feature of the 1756-TBSH is that it can handle RIUP (removal and insertion under power). Working with live electricity, on the other hand, should be done with utmost care since it may be hazardous to both the installer and the installation system. Injuries, loss of process control, and accidental machine action are all potential hazards. It is advised that you turn off the power before installing.
