The 1760-L12AWA is a Bulletin 1760 AC Pico Controller by Allen-Bradley and Rockwell Automation. The hardware comes standard with 8 digital inputs at 115/230 Volts AC and 4 relay outputs. It has an isolation to power supply and inputs of 300 Volts AC with reinforced insulation. The 1760-L12AWA has a mechanical switching frequency of 10 Hertz and a resistive lamp load of 2 Hertz; inductive load is rated at 0.5 Hertz. It also comes with a Liquid Crystal (LCD) Display for its status display. This hardware has a sinusoidal off-state rated voltage of 0 to 40 Volts AC and a sinusoidal on-state rated voltage of 79 to 264 Volts AC. Sinusoidal rated value range is 90 to 264 Volts AC and it has a line current at 115/120 Volts AC, 60 Hertz, of 40 milliamps (nominal). Line current at 230/240 Volts AC, 50 Hertz, is 20 milliamps (nominal). Regarding power consumption, the 1760-L12AWA has a power consumption of 5 Volt-amperes (nominal) at 115/120 Volts AC and 5 Volt-amperes (nominal) at 230/240 Volts AC.

Electrical specifications include a Class B emitted interference and interference immunity and a 10 Volt line conducted interference. It has a clock capacitor back-up at 25 degrees Celsius of 64 hours (nominal) and 24 hours (nominal) at 40 degrees Celsius. Environmental specifications include an operating temperature between -25 and 55 degrees Celsius and a storage/transport temperature between -40 and 70 degrees Celsius. Operating humidity is 5% to 95%, non-condensing. Its approximate dimensions are 71.5 x 90 x 56.5 millimeters, or 2.82 x 3.55 x 2.08 inches; its approximate weight is 200 grams, or 7 ounces.

The 1760-L12AWA should be connected using the 1760-CBL-PM02 communication cable. This controller has a dimension of 71.5 millimeters x 90 millimeters x 56.5 millimeters. The weight of this controller is approximately two hundred (200) grams. There are a total of four (4) relay outputs, and eight digital inputs on this controller. It is a compact and small device. It is primarily used for providing logic operations, tracking timing, and maintaining clock operations. For power, this controller requires a line voltage in the range of 100 to 240 volts in an alternating current. Users can feed instructions into this controller using either the keypad or the display. Users can use the display to troubleshoot the controller. When operating at a 60 hertz (Hz) frequency, this controller has 66 milliseconds (ms) of delay. On the other hand, when operating at 50 hertz (Hz), this controller has a delay of 80 milliseconds (ms). Expansion modules can be connected to this controller using the Pico circuit. It should be provided with 20 milliamperes (mA) of current.

The 1760-L12AWA does not include any electrical isolation between the inputs and the power supply. However, the output channels come with electrical isolation. It can be used in non-industrial applications such as providing lighting to parking areas. This controller comes with support for 128 different program rungs. For time-intensive operations, this controller comes with a built-in clock. For conducting local programming, this controller comes with a keypad and a display. The users are notified about its status using the display LCD.
