The 1761-NET-ENIW is an Ethernet Interface manufactured by Allen Bradley/Rockwell Automation as part of the Bulletin 1761 MicroLogix 1000 Communication Module Series. This module allows for EtherNet/IP connection between the Non-EtherNet controllers and the new or existing networks. It is designed for use in communication between controllers, generating emails through a Simple Mail Transport Protocol (SMTP), as well as uploading and downloading programs. The module is well-matched with the MicroLogix controllers, CompactLogix controllers, and all the DF1 full-duplex-compliant devices. The Allen Bradley 1761-NET-ENIW EtherNet/IP Interface module has a typical current draw of 50 - 100 milliamps at 24 volts DC. It operates on power voltage of 20.4 – 26.4 volts DC, with 200 milliamps of maximum inrush current. The module also has an internal isolation rating of 710 volts DC for 1 minute. Allen Bradley 1761-NET-ENIW EtherNet/IP Interface Module improves system operation through a web server functionality. It also features a TCP/IP address that is entered into a web browser to access the device’s information. It also has 40 data table values presented across 4 standard DataView web pages. Every page has 3 floating-point values, 7 integers, 10 user-configurable web page links, and 10 user-configurable data description strings. Protect the information from unauthorized modification and access; a password protects the writable data files. The 1761-NET-ENIW EtherNet/IP Interface module supports a maximum of 6 concurrent TCP/IP connections, including 2 configurable, 2 incoming, and 2 outgoing connections that are configurable as incoming or outgoing connections. Each of these connections has its own DFI queue, and each of them concurrently supports 4 CIP connections and 5 unconnected sends.
