The 1762 series input modules with MicroLogix expansion are suitable for MicroLogix 1100, 1200, and 1400 controllers. These equipment are branded and manufactured by Allen-Bradley and Rockwell Automation. It finds its application in clean and dry environments of the industries. When the need or application involves more of the I/O in addition to the built-in I/O that is provided by the controller, expansion I/O modules are added. The industrial environment however is specified and restricted to a particular pollution degree and to circuits that do not exceed overvoltage Category II.

Allen-Bradley’s 1762-IQ32T MicroLogix 1200 module has a 32-point source input module. The dimensions of the module are 90 x 87 x 40 millimeters (H x W x D). When the 1762-IQ32T module is used with MicroLogix 1100, 1200, and 1400 controllers functionality is improved. This module has a single status LED to indicate power. It helps in discovering the source of the issue or problems if any. It has a 24 Volt DC input power. The operating voltage ranges from 10 to 30 Volts DC. It has no digital output current. This 1762-IQ32T module communicates 10, 24, and 30 Volts DC power through the bus interface. It has 3.7 Watts for its maximum heat dissipation. This module can be both DIN rail and panel mounted; hence, it is designed to accommodate in minimal spacing for mounting.
