The 1768-EWEB is a web server module manufactured by Allen-Bradley. It is part of the CompactLogix 1786 product series lineup. This module supports the use of Ethernet / IP networks to exchange data with other devices on the network. It is capable of creating up to 128 Ethernet/IP connections for Logix devices, as well as 64 connections over TCP/IP. The module is able to transfer data at speeds of up to 10/100 Megabits per second. The module draws 834 milliamperes of current from the backplane at a voltage of 5.25 volts DC. This module is mounted using a DIN rail. As it is grounded through the DIN rail, only yellow-chromate steel DIN rails that have been zinc plated can be used to mount this module in order to ensure adequate grounding. This module requires at least 105 millimeters (4 inches) of clearance above and below it, as well as 90 millimeters (3.54 inches) of clearance on either side in order to ensure adequate air ventilation. The module is sensitive to electrostatic discharge and is designed to be used in Pollution Degree 2 industrial environments. It has an isolation voltage rating of 30 volts using functional insulation. The module complies with CISPR 11 specifications for emissions and has an ESD immunity rating of 6 kilovolt contact discharges and 8 kilovolt air discharges. It comes in an open-style enclosure and has approximate dimensions of 132 millimeters x 56.7 millimeters x 105.1 millimeters (5.20 inches x 2.23 inches x 4.12 inches). The approximate weight of this module is 0.213 kilograms (7.5 ounces).
