Description:

The 1769-CRL1 is an expansion cable by Allen-Bradley. This cable is compatible with the MicroLogix 1500 as well as controllers in the 1769 Compact I/O series. It is used to connect a right I/O bank with a left I/O bank. The 1769-CRL1 includes terminating caps. This expansion cable is 305 millimeters or 1 foot long from end to end. The dimensions of the terminating caps are 0.71 x 4.65 inches (18 x 118 millimeters).

This is the 1769-CRL1 Compact I/O cable made by Allen-Bradley. This cable is intended to be used by controllers in the DriveLogix 5730 series. This unit allows the 1769 bus communication lines to be extended. Up to two cables are supported for use in a 1769 system. This allows for three banks or groups of I/O modules. Each bank requires its own supply of power. The 1769-CRL1 is a right bank to left bank expansion cable. It is 1 foot (305 millimeters) in length and has an approximate shipping weight of 300 grams (0.66 pounds). The manufacturer recommends that power be removed from components before cable connections are made or broken in order to prevent electrical arcing. This causes excessive wear for contacts and mating connectors. The supported operating temperature of this component is between 0 degrees and 60 degrees Celsius. The supported storage temperature range is between -40 degrees and 85 degrees Celsius. The rated operating altitude is 6561 feet (2000 meters). The relative humidity range is between 5 percent and 95 percent noncondensing humidity. The cable is rated for an operational vibration of up to 5 G between a frequency range of 10 to 500 Hertz with amplitude up to 0.030 inches from peak to peak. The general relay operation is rated for 2 G. It can withstand 5 G when mounted on a DIN rail and 7.5 G when panel mounted. The operating shock rating is 20 G when mounted using a DIN rail and up to 30 G when panel mounted. The non-operating shock when mounted on a DIN rail is 30 G and up to 40 G when panel mounted.
