The Allen-Bradley 1769-PB2 I/O power supply provides 24 volts DC power to 1769-L3x controllers and I/O modules. This power supply supports 8 I/O modules which can be installed easily to the left or to the right of this power supply. The 1769-PB2 has a power supply distance rating of 8 modules and supports an input voltage rating range from 19.2 volts DC to 31.2 volts DC. This Allen-Bradley 2 amp power supply can provide 1 amp to the right side of this power supply and 1 amp to the left at a voltage rating of 5 volts DC. The Allen-Bradley 1769-PB2 delivers a maximum amount of current in both directions of 2 amps at 5 volts DC and 1 amp at 24 volts DC which are the limit electrical specification of the 1769 Compact I/O bus. This power supply can be employed by 1769-L3x controller or by additional bank of I/O modules. This Allen-Bradley 1769-PB2 compact power supply can be connected easily to an adjacent I/O module before or after mounting. The 1769-PB2 power supply offers the flexibility during the installation and mounting steps with four mounting M4 or #8 panhead screws for well-grounded panel mounting or on EN 50 022 - 35 x 7.5 or EN 50 022 - 35 x 15 DIN rails. The 1769-PB2 dissipates an electrical power of 7.5 watts at a temperature of 60 degrees Celsius. This Allen-Bradley 1769-PB2 is intended for use in a mainly industrial environment that is clean and dry (Pollution degree 2) and overvoltage Category II applications as defined in IEC publication 60664-1. This Allen-Bradley 1769-PB2 power supply weighs approximately 525 grams (1.16 pounds) while shipping and can operate at a temperature range of 0 to 60 degrees Celsius (32 to 140 degrees Fahrenheit).
