The 1771-DMC module was designed and produced by the Allen Bradley corporation, which is owned by Rockwell Automation. This module was created to serve as a control coprocessor module. The 1771-DMC control coprocessor module has an available memory consisting of two hundred and fifty-six (256) kilobytes of RAM, or random-access memory. This Allen Bradley product also has a backplane current rated at two-point-five (2.5) amperes at five (5) volts direct current (DC). This Allen Bradley module has a battery life that lasts up to one (1) full year, providing you with performance that is both long-lasting and efficient. The Allen Bradley 1771-DMC control coprocessor module is equipped with a set of LED, or light emitting diode, indicators that tell users operating this module the current status or condition of the module. When operating this control coprocessor module, it is important that the temperature of the surrounding area ranges from zero (0) degrees Celsius to sixty (60) degrees Celsius, or the equivalent range of thirty-two (32) degrees Fahrenheit to one hundred and forty (140) degrees Fahrenheit. However, when this device is not being operated or is being stored, the temperature of the area should range from negative forty (-40) degrees Celsius to eighty-five (85) degrees Celsius, or the equivalent temperature range of negative forty (-40) degrees Fahrenheit to one hundred and eighty-five (185) degrees Fahrenheit. Additionally, when storing this control coprocessor module, the relative humidity should have levels that range from five (5) percent to ninety-five (95) percent with no condensation.
