The Allen-Bradley 1771-NB4S analog I/O module is a smart block transfer module that connects analog signals to an intelligent controller. It is a 4-channel module with dual 4 to 20 mA input, as well as two 0 to 25 mA outputs, and the module captures the current 1.4 amperes back-plane. The 1771-NB4S has a 3.2 �A resolution output per bit (13 unipolar bits) with output interference less than 1 mega-ohm, and driving power of 25 mA at 700 ohms. It has overvoltage output protection at 140 volts AC rms.

This product from Allen-Bradley is an analog I/O module. The maximum update time of the 1771-NB4S module is twenty-five (25) milliseconds and it uses a digital-to-analog (D/A) converter with a stop time based on a fully loaded 500 µs scale. It has an accuracy of 0.01% at 25 degrees Celsius and 0.08% at 25 degrees Celsius and requires field measurement with a measuring setting of 0.5 milliamperes / 22 milliamperes, and has a measuring interval of 1 year. It has a rumpling value of 0.16 milliamperes per second and 32 milliamperes per second at 1% and 200% FSR. The 1771-NB4S is fitted to a single 1771 I/O chassis slot and is fitted to the chassis by connecting the top connectors between 26 and 28 pins, and 32 and 34 pins.
1771-NB4S provides installation stations and tested back-plane connections at 1200 volts DC for 1 second, and is designed to withstand voltage of 1000 volts DC between input and output channels and between installation and connection of the rear plane. Its working temperature is between 0 and 60 degrees Celsius at a 5-95% relative humidity. The connection between the analog module and the processor is double. Processor block-transfers output data via file Exit image table module and input data block-transfers from the module with input image table. The module also needs place in the block data storage table to read and write block data. The use of an I/O image table is an important factor in the placement of the module as well as to deal with choice.
