The 1771-NT1 is a high-resolution isolated analog input module that is manufactured and branded by Allen-Bradley and Rockwell Automation. The 1771-NT1 module has 8 inputs with an input range of +/-105 millivolts, selectable with each thermocouple type (B, E, J, K, R, S, T). The module has a maximum input resolution of 3.3 microvolts per bit at 15 bits with sign bit (for type E, J, K, T have a 0.1-degrees Celsius, type B, R, S at 0.3 degrees Celsius) rating. The display resolution (default) is 0.01 millivolts per 0.1 degrees Celsius and it has an input impedance greater than 10 Megohms and a cold junction linearization temperature between 0 and 70 degrees Celsius (+/-0.25 degrees Celsius). The 1771-NT1’s maximum offset drift rating is +/-0.50 microvolts per degree Celsius, a maximum gain drift of +/-35 ppm per degree Celsius, and a normal common mode rejection (at 60Hertz) of 150dB. The input bandwidth for the 1771-NT1 is 9 Hertz and its maximum per module update time is 25 milliseconds.

The 1771-NT1 has a typical full range accuracy with a calibration rating of 0.01 percent at 25 degrees Celsius which extends up to 0.05% at 25 degrees Celsius. Additionally, the 1771-NT1 module has an underrange threshold of -103 millivolts and an overrange threshold of +103 millivolts. The rate alarm value for the 1771-NT1 module (at minimum) is 0.04 percent FSR and 50 percent FSR maximum. It is recommended to use the 1771-RTP1 with the 1771-NT1 module. The 1771-NT1 draws a current of 1 Ampere from the backplane and it has a power dissipation rating of 5 Watts.
