The 1771-QRC is a pulse flow meter module that is made by Allen-Bradley. It features four input channels and has four configurable output channels. It has independent rate meters for each input channel as well as four independent totalizers. Supported signals for turbine flow meter or magnetic pickup are 50 millivolt to 142 volts AC RMS. Signal characteristics for TTL have a 1.3 volt threshold. The module has an accuracy of 0.1 percent for frequencies less than 3 kilohertz and an error of less than 0.2 percent for greater frequencies. This module has a current draw of 0.5 amperes from the backplane at 5 volts +/- 5 percent. It does not need an isolated field supply. The input frequency is limited to 100 kilohertz. This module has a rate meter update time of one second. The block transfer time is less than 10 milliseconds. The power dissipation rating for this flow meter module is variable. It lies in the range of 2 to 13 watts. This module has been replaced by the 1771-CFM module also provided by Allen-Bradley. Supported power supplies are the Allen-Bradley series B power supplies. Compatible part models are 1771–P3, –P4, –P5, and –P7. This module has an approximate weight of one pound. It is a single slot 1771 I/O module and uses a swing arm connector. The module has a storage temperature range of minus 40 to 85 degrees Celsius and an operational temperature range between 0 to 60 degrees Celsius. The operating relative humidity range is between 0 percent and 95 percent, non-condensing.
