This product is a Stratix 2000 multimode series Ethernet Unmanaged Switch. This switch has an impressive eight ports with six RJ45 10/100 ports made of copper and two fibers optics multimode SFP ports. There are also blinking green and yellow indication lights that show the current state of the power stream, speed of the ports, and connectivity of network and activity at a rate of 105 milliseconds. The Ethernet data rate of this switch is 10 to 100 megabytes per second (Mbps). This device can resist up to 180 degrees Fahrenheit higher than the ambient temperature surrounding the enclosure. For direct current (DC) power connections, use a copper wire AWG 18 to 14, with a twisted pair being recommended for use. 

In all, the 1783-US6T2F switch has dimensions of 4.19 inches x 2.11 inches x 5.31 inches and is housed by an open enclosure. To operate the 1783-US6T2F switch, it needs a twenty-four (24) volts Class 2/SELV power supply, with voltage ranges of 18 to 60 volts direct current (DC) and 18 to 30 volts alternating current (AC) at a frequency range of 50 to 60 hertz. It has a maximum power dissipation of 5.93 watts and a maximum current rating of 442 milliamperes with a continuous isolation voltage of 30 volts from the network channels' power. This switch is suitable for most network applications. The 1783-US6T2F's basic insulation type was tested for 60 seconds at 500 volts alternating current (AC). Individual network channels are not isolated from one another. The operating temperature range for the 1783-US6T2F is -40 to 158 degrees Fahrenheit, while the storage range is -40 to 185 degrees Fahrenheit.
