The Allen-Bradley 1783-US8T Ethernet switch comes with eight fast Ethernet ports. However, it does not come with an SFP port. As it does not come with an enclosure, it is advised to be mounted on a DIN Rail. It works at 18 to 30 volts AC at 50 to 60 Hz frequency and 12 to 48 volts DC. Thanks to the eight RJ45 10/100 copper ports on the Allen-Bradley 1783-US8T Ethernet switch, data can be transferred at a high rate of 10/100 MB per second. At its core, this Ethernet switch uses packet-based thresholds. It comes equipped with a broadcast storm threshold of 20 packets per second (PPS). The Allen-Bradley 1783-US8T Ethernet switch can transfer data at 10 MB per port and 200 packets per second for 100 MB per port. To inform the user about operation status, this Ethernet switch comes with one yellow indicator and one green indicator. Both the indicators come with a blink rate of 105 milliseconds. The Allen-Bradley 1783-US8T Ethernet switch has a shipping dimension of 5.31 x 4.19 x 2.11 inches. As this Ethernet switch does not come equipped with a protective enclosure and it is advised for operators to use the DIN rail for mounting. For operations, the Allen-Bradley 1783-US8T Ethernet switch requires a 0.75 to 2.5 millimeters twisted-pair copper wire. The wire should be 2.5 millimeters to support Earth connection. The 1783-US8T has a rated operating temperature of 0 to 60 degrees Celsius (32 to 140 degrees Fahrenheit). This module has a maximum inrush current of 1.31 amperes.
