Part Number: | 1785-LT4 |
Series: | PLC 5 |
Description:
There are two components to the Allen-Bradley 1785-LT4 processor module, which is a PLC 5 series controller and a processor module. For users, the memory size is 6K words, while the value of the EEPROM module memory is 8K words. The 1785-LT4 processor unit can handle up to 256 analog inputs. Scan periods for its rated programs are 2 milliseconds for every 1000 words of discrete logic and 8 milliseconds for most programs. The 1785-LT4 processor module needs 2.5 amperes of backplane power at a voltage of 5 volts DC.

The Allen-Bradley 1785-LT4 is a variation of the Classic 1785 PLC-5 Programmable Controller modules, which are available in many configurations. This module can support up to 512 analog I/O., and the program scan time is 2 milliseconds (discrete logic) and 8 milliseconds (continuous logic) typically. Divide the I/O rack amongst numerous channels in order to reduce scan time and increase efficiency. Make a single channel available for the most crucial I/O, then switch off the I/O on the remaining channels. All I/O channels are independent of one another, such that a remote I/O scan performed on one channel will not have an impact on remote I/O scans performed on other channels. In addition to one DH+ port, the Allen-Bradley 1785-LT4 features a remote I/O transmission rate of 57.6 kbps and a maximum user memory of six thousand words.
In line with Publication IEC/CISPR 11, the Allen-Bradley 1785-LT4 is classified as Industrial Machinery Class 1, Class A, and is thus classified as such. Because of conducted and radiated disturbances, it may be difficult to maintain durability in other settings if proper safeguards are not taken. The non-operational temperature range for this module is -40 to 85 degrees Celsius. The 1785-LT4 has a relative humidity level of 5-95 percent without condensation, which is a good result. The working vibration of this module is 2 g at a frequency range of 10 to 500 Hz. The Allen-Bradley 1785-LT4 has an operational shock of 30 g at peak acceleration for 11 milliseconds, give or take 1 millisecond. The non-operational shock magnitude for this module is 50 g for 3 pulses and 11 milliseconds.
