The 1794-OF4I module is a flex analog output. Its external direct current power supply current is 210 milliamperes at 24 volts direct current. This device was type tested at 1000 volts alternating current for 60 seconds. Its measures 94 millimeters by 94 millimeters by 66 millimeters. This measurement includes the module installed inside the base. The size of the conductor wire is determined by the installed terminal base. When operating at full capacity, the maximum thermal dissipation of this module is 16 British Thermal Units per hour (BTU/hr) at 31.2 volts direct current (DC).

It has 4 conductor categories of which two are on the signal port and the other two are on the power ports. The 1794-OF4I comes with several indicator LEDs. The LED indicators are one red or green power or status indicator. The FlexBus current of the module is 50 milliamperes. Power requirements of the module in each chassis have to be calculated before installing it also position the key switch on the terminal base and mount the module. The maximum current draw is 10 amperes. This current determines the wiring of the terminal base; therefore, it should not exceed 10 amperes.

When power is on, removing and replacing a terminal base is not allowed since the interruption of the FlexBus may result in unintended machine movement or the machine operation. This module has 4 key switch positions and has shielded wire on signal ports. It also has an accuracy of 0.1% full scale at 25 degrees Celsius for voltage and current terminal.
