Part number 1794-OW8 is an input / output relay module that was designed and manufactured by Allen-Bradley / Rockwell Automation. It is ideal for any type of industrial application. This module is compatible with the following terminal bases: the 1794-TB3, the 1794-TB2, the 1794-TB3S, the 1794-TBNF, and the 1794-TBN. This module can be used to implement distributed Input / Output applications using any 1794 Flex IO adapter. This module has one (1) group of the eight (8) form A isolated electromechanical relays output. This module has an off-state leakage current of one (1) milliampere which is through a snubber circuit.

It has a power dissipation rate of 5.5 watts. Additionally, the thermal dissipation rating on this module is 18.8 BTU/hr. The initial contact resistance on this relay module is thirty (30) mΩ. This module has eight (8) yellow indicators and nine (9) key-switch positions with 0.8 Nm terminal screw torque. The 1974-OW8 module is reliable with a switching frequency of 0.3 hertz at rated load and bounces time of approximately 1.2 milliseconds. It has a flex-bus current of sixty-nine (69) milliamperes and the expected life of the module is 100,000 operations minimum at rated load.

The dimension of the module is 3.7 inches x 3.7 inches x 2.7 inches (height x width x depth). This product has an optimal storage temperature range of -40 to 185 degrees Fahrenheit. Additionally, the optimal operating temperature range of this module is 32 to 131 degrees Fahrenheit. The relative humidity rating of this device 5 to 95% non-condensing.
