Part Number 1799-D10U10VZC is an embedded I/O module for DeviceNet devices as part of the Bulletin 1799 family of products. This embedded Input / Output module comes with zone interlocking parameters. It is a zone control I/O board that exchanges the inputs and outputs with the master through a change of state, polled, or cyclic connection on DeviceNet. This board comes with various LED (light-emitting diode) indicators designated for various conditions of the module including auxiliary power, I/O status, card status, DeviceLogix status, and network status labeled as AUX PWR, INPUTS, and OUTPUTS, MOD, DS2, and NET, respectively. The module energized inputs and outputs are indicated by yellow color. This module features a ZCIO card with relative node addressing. This ZCIO card has a maximum number of seventy-two (72) blocks included in its configuration. Ten (10) source input points are present in this controller module, while ten (10) sinking output points are available with it.

Allen-Bradley’s 1799-D10U10VZC controller module comes with an auxiliary power connector, mounting plates, removable terminal block connectors, and a DeviceNet connector. It has an open style enclosure rating operating at a -10 °C to 60 °C temperature range, copper-made wires for DeviceNet or auxiliary power connection, an input current of 125 milliamperes, an output current rating of four (4) amperes with all outputs on, an output voltage of 30 volts DC, physical dimensions that measure 1 inch x 2 inches x 6.4 inches, a leakage current of 20 micro-amperes, and a vibration rating of 5 grams at 10 to 500 hertz.
