The Allen-Bradley SMC 3 controller series includes the 150-C30NBR Solid-State Smart Motor Controller (SMC). It has a number of features that protect the connected motor from damage caused by abrupt Start-Stop actions and reduce energy consumption by limiting inrush current. Current limiting, kickstart, soft-start, soft-stop, and coast-to-stop are all options on the 150-C30NBR. This product is Underwriter Laboratories, CCC, CE, and Canadian Standard Association certified. The Allen-Bradley 150-C30NBR smart motor controller has a voltage rating of twenty-four (24) volts direct current (DC) / twenty-four (24) volts alternating current (AC) and accepts two hundred (200) to four hundred and sixty (460) volts three-phase alternating current power at a frequency of fifty (50) to sixty (60) hertz. This Allen-Bradley works with both Delta-connected and Line-connected motors, delivering output currents of 14.3 to 43 amperes at a power of 10 to 30 horsepower (22 kilowatts) for Delta-connected motors and 10 to 30 amperes at a power of 3 to 20 horsepower (5 kilowatts) for Line-connected motors. A Class J/L/CC 60-ampere fuse, a 110-ampere K5 fuse, and a 110-ampere integrated thermal-magnetic circuit breaker are all included in the 150-C30NBR. Furthermore, It has current transformers on each phase to prevent motor overload and a built-in thermistor to protect against high temperatures. This SMC can operate at a range of up to 2000 meters (6560 feet) without derating. It is designed to withstand a 15 G operational shock, as well as 1 G vibration.
