The 150-C37NBR is a Bulletin 150 smart motor controller series 3, or SMC-3. This device was designed and manufactured by Allen Bradley. This SMC-3 is a simple to use, compact, and cost-effective motor controller that is operational on three-phase motors with increased intelligence and unmatched performance. This motor also has overload protection, an integrated bypass, and a diagnostics of the motor system. Rotary dials and DIP switches make the setup quick and easy. This is a solid state smart motor controller with a current rating of 37 amperes. The input line voltage ranges from 200 volts AC to 460 volts AC in a three-phase motor with input frequency of 50 to 60 hertz. The controller, however, has a control voltage of 24 volts AC/DC. The enclosures on this motor are open-type. The 150-C37NBR used with line-connected motors has a rated AC voltage of 200 volts or 208 volts, has a motor current of 12.3 amperes to 37 amperes, and a rated power of 5 to 10 horsepower at a 60 hertz frequency with a control power of 24 volts AC/DC. With a line-connected motor of 230 volts AC, the power dissipation of this device is 7.5 kilowatts at a frequency of 50 hertz. This SMC-3 device has an operating temperature that should remain within a range of -5 to +50 degrees Celsius, or 23 to 122 degrees Fahrenheit, when opened. When enclosed, the operating temperature range for this device is -5 to +40 degrees Celsius, or 23 to 104 degrees Fahrenheit. The storage temperature for this device should remain in a range of -20 to +75 degrees Celsius.
